How to set up DoorDash

Overview

The DoorDash integration with Starshipit allows you to take full advantage of Starshipit's features—including generating packing slips and shipping labels, auto-correcting addresses, branded tracking pages, delivery notifications, and more.

 Note

DoorDash delivery is currently supported only for domestic deliveries in Australia and New Zealand.

Before you begin

To integrate DoorDash with Starshipit, please complete the following steps:

  1. Sign an agreement with DoorDash
  2. Contact the DoorDash team to let them know you'd like to integrate using Starshipit, and request your Business ID
  3. Gather the following details:
    • Business ID
    • Business description
    • Store name
  4. Once you’ve collected this information, reach out to your Starshipit Sales Representative or Customer Success Manager to get your account set up. Alternatively, reach out to our support team for help.

How to set up DoorDash

In the Starshipit dashboard, navigate to:

  1. Settings > Couriers > Add a new courier > DoorDash.
  2. Tick the Enable DoorDash checkbox.
  3. Click Save.
  4. Navigate to the Delivery Options section.
  5. Select your default undeliverable action (what DoorDash should do if delivery fails).
  6. Click Save to confirm your selection.
