# Set up Australia Post On Demand / StarTrack Courier

Connect Australia Post On Demand or StarTrack Courier to Starshipit, then add the services available on your account.

## Before you begin

Request your **Account No**, **API Key**, and **Password** from the Australia Post Developer Centre. Follow [Generate an Australia Post / StarTrack API key and secret](/articles/couriers/australia-post/generate-an-australia-post-startrack-api-key-and-secret) if you need help getting these details.

## Add Australia Post On Demand to Starshipit

1. Open the [Starshipit web portal](https://app2.starshipit.com/).
2. Go to **Settings** > **Courier** > **Add a new courier** > **AusPost On Demand**.
3. Select **Enable AusPost On Demand**.
4. Enter your **Account No**, **API Key**, and **Password**.
5. Select **Use the API**.
6. Add the service codes your account can use. See [Australia Post On Demand and StarTrack Courier service codes and booking windows](/articles/90200000000167-australia-post-on-demand-and-startrack-courier-service-codes-and-booking-windows).
7. Click **Save**.

## Configure pickups and delivery options

Set a pickup date and time that is valid for the selected service before you print a label. See [Schedule pickups for Australia Post On Demand and StarTrack Courier](/articles/90200000000166-schedule-pickups-for-australia-post-on-demand-and-startrack-courier) for the available scheduling methods, service windows, and what to do when a booking window has closed.

## Verify the setup

1. Create or open a test order that uses one of the service codes you added.
2. Check the pickup date and time are within that service's booking window.
3. Print the label.
4. Confirm the label and tracking number are created, and review the delivery instruction before dispatching the order.

## Troubleshooting

### Tracking has not updated

1. Confirm you printed the shipment with an AusPost On Demand service.
2. Check that the shipment has a tracking number.
3. Allow time for the first carrier scan or event to be returned.
4. Contact Starshipit support with the order number if tracking still does not update.
