* Starshipit supports sending dangerous goods with StarTrack.
* Prior to shipping, you'll need to add each dangerous good you wish to send with StarTrack to your settings.
* After adding StarTrack dangerous goods to Starshipit, you can set which orders contain dangerous goods using rules or set a default dangerous goods type.
* If you are using premium services like FPP or PRM, please read [this section](#h_01J8P70FCQBSSKW2JJPY168SC2).
* You can see the full list of approved StarTrack dangerous goods [here](https://auspost.com.au/content/dam/auspost_corp/media/documents/dangerous-goods-guide.pdf) or on the StarTrack website.

## Adding dangerous goods in Starshipit

To start, you’ll need to add dangerous goods to your Starshipit account.

1. In Starshipit, navigate to **Settings** > **Couriers** > **StarTrack** > **Dangerous Goods**.
2. Fill out all compulsory fields except **Other than Subsidiary Risk** and **Package Group Designator**.
3. Click **Save**.

## Sending orders containing dangerous goods

If you tick the Dangerous Goods box manually on the order details page, the default dangerous good selected in the settings page will be applied.

#### Premium services

If you need to print orders containing dangerous goods on FPP or PRM (with StarTrack's approval), you will need to follow the steps below:

1. Before printing the order, ensure that the **Dangerous Goods** tickbox under the order options is **unchecked**.
2. Once you have printed the order, complete the IATA form [here](https://www.iata.org/contentassets/a9f496cd8c87466b98142fa6d4cdb209/shippers-declaration-column-format-fillable.pdf).
3. Hand the completed IATA form to the delivery driver on pick-up.

## Applying dangerous goods using rules

Once you’ve set up dangerous goods in Starshipit, you can apply them using rules. Any rules containing a dangerous good which has not been set up in your Starshipit settings will be ignored.

To assign dangerous goods using rules, follow the below steps:

1. Navigate to **Settings** > **Rules**.
2. Create a new rule with any condition. E.g. SKU equals 12345.
3. Set the action to **Set Dangerous Goods Type**.
4. Set the value to **StarTrack**.
5. In the field next to Value, enter the identification number (UN Number/Commodity ID number) of the dangerous good you’ve set up in Starshipit.
6. On import, all details will be copied from the dangerous goods you’ve set up to the order.
