How to set up Parcel Right

Starshipit is now integrated with Parcel Right (formerly DAI Post), an Australian domestic shipping service that focuses exclusively on domestic shipments within Australia. Learn more about Parcel Right shipping services.

Before you begin

To connect Parcel Right with your Starshipit account, you’ll need your:

  • Parcel Right User ID
  • Password

If you do not have these credentials, please contact your Parcel Right account manager.

Setting up your Parcel Right account

  1. In Starshipit, navigate to Settings > Couriers > Add a new courier.
  2. Select Australia from the Shipping From dropdown.
  3. Select Parcel Right under the Australian Domestic section.
  4. Tick Enable Parcel Right.
  5. Enter your Parcel Right User ID and Password.
  6. Select an Origin Terminal from which shipments will be uplifted.
  7. Click Save to save your integration details.

Add your product codes

Finally, add the product codes you'd like to use for Parcel Right:

  1. Navigate to the Product Codes section.
  2. Select a product code from the Add New Product Code dropdown list.
  3. Click Add to save the selected product code.
Note

If you want a specific product code to be set as your default, make sure to tick the Defaultcheckbox beside the product code before saving.

Does Parcel Right support both domestic and international shipping?

No, Parcel Right currently supports only Australian domestic shipments.

Does Parcel Right support multi-package shipments?

No, Parcel Right does not support multi-package shipments/orders at this time.

Is a manifest compulsory for Parcel Right shipments?

No, generating a manifest is optional for Parcel Right shipments.
