Connect Parxl to Starshipit to create international shipping labels. Configure your account credentials and duties preference, then check the shipment's customs information and product identifiers before printing. ## Before you begin - Have your **Merchant Name** and **Secret Key** from Parxl ready, and permission to edit courier settings in Starshipit. - Confirm your destination, service and duties arrangements with Parxl. - Collect each product's manufacturer or brand-owner product code if Parxl requires an NS-PID for the shipment. This is separate from the manufacturer's MID code. Ask your Parxl account manager for missing credentials. If you do not have an account manager, contact the team through the [Parxl website](https://parxl.com/). ## Connect Parxl 1. Go to **Settings > Couriers > Add a new courier**. 2. Select **Parxl (by Singapore Airlines)** under **International**. 3. Enable **Parxl**. 4. Enter your **Merchant Name** and **Secret Key**. 5. Select **Save**. 1. Go to **Settings > Couriers > [Add a new courier](https://next.starshipit.com/settings/couriers/add)**. 2. Select **Parxl**. 3. Enable **Parxl**. 4. Enter your **Merchant Name** and **Secret Key**. 5. Select **Save**. Reopen the Parxl settings and confirm the connection is enabled and your Merchant Name is correct. Keep your Secret Key private. ## Set a default duties option By default, Parxl shipments are sent as DDU unless an order or rule sets DDP. To default to DDP: 1. Open **Settings > Couriers > Parxl**. In UI 2.0, open the **[Parxl settings](https://next.starshipit.com/settings/couriers/setup/parxl)**. 2. Enable **Duties and taxes paid by sender (default)**. 3. Select **Save**. 4. Create or open a new Parxl order and confirm **Duties & Taxes Paid** is selected before printing. An explicit duties choice on an order or from a rule takes priority over this default. Only enable DDP when your Parxl service and destination support it. See [Choose DDP or DDU for international shipments](/articles/4415554835215-choose-ddp-or-ddu-for-international-shipments). ## Add manufacturer product identifiers Parxl uses **Manufacturer Product ID** for its non-standardised product identifier (NS-PID). Enter the manufacturer's or brand owner's product code on each order item that needs it. In UI 2.0, open an unprinted order, show the **Manufacturer Product ID** column in **Items** if it is hidden, enter the code for each relevant item and save. For repeat products, follow [Set up product identifiers for EU shipments](/articles/1790827200001-set-up-product-identifiers-for-eu-shipments) to maintain identifiers in Product Catalogue or import them from your sales platform, CSV or API. Starshipit sends a populated Manufacturer Product ID to Parxl for every destination, including non-EU destinations and territories. Parxl decides which shipments require it. If the field is blank, Starshipit leaves it out; it does not copy SKU or MID into it. **Manufacturer Code (MID)** identifies the manufacturer or supplier. It remains a separate field and cannot replace Manufacturer Product ID. The separate Merchant Product ID and Standardised Product ID fields are not sent as Parxl product identifiers. ## Check your first shipment 1. Open an intended Parxl shipment and check the destination, receiver name, package details and customs items. 2. Check the duties option and each item's Manufacturer Product ID against your source data and Parxl's requirements. 3. Print the label and confirm that a label and tracking number are returned for the intended order. If a label error says an NS-PID or `eu_manufacturer_id` is required, check **Manufacturer Product ID** on the affected item. Adding an MID or changing the SKU does not fill that field. Correct the order and its source data before trying again. For other failures, keep the error message and contact [Starshipit support](/ticket) with the order and courier details. Do not share your Secret Key. ## FAQs Which destinations can I ship to? Parxl provides international shipping. Confirm available destinations and services with Parxl for your account before shipping; the product-identifier requirements can also vary by destination. Does Parxl support multi-package shipments? The Parxl integration supports single-package shipments. How can I get a commercial invoice? Parxl does not return a commercial invoice with the label. Parxl generates any required export or import customs documentation in its own system and shares it with the relevant partners, such as customs brokers. Do I need to request a pickup separately? No separate pickup request is needed in Starshipit. Shipments are created with pickup required by default. Which service option does Starshipit use?
