* United States Postal Service (USPS) delivers parcels throughout the United States of America.
* Starshipit's integration with USPS allows you to ship both domestically and internationally ex: the United States of America.
* USPS integration with Starshipit allows you to generate packing slips and shipping labels, sending branded tracking notifications and updating your eCommerce platform, Warehouse Management or Inventory Management system with tracking information.

## Before you begin

To integrate USPS with your Starshipit account you will need to have an EasyPost account. You can sign up for EasyPost [here.](https://www.easypost.com/signup?utm_sourc%20e=StarShipIt)

## How to set up USPS

1. In Starshipit, navigate to **Settings** > **Couriers** > **USPS**.  
   Please note your shipping from country will need to be United States.
2. Tick Enable **USPS**.
3. Enter your **EasyPost API Key**.
4. Enter your **EasyPost USPS Account ID**.
5. Click **Save**.
6. Click **Test to ensure it works** to ensure your credentials are valid.
7. Add your USPS Product codes.

## Available products

When using USPS with Starshipit, you can access a range of domestic and international shipping options to suit your delivery needs. Below is an overview of the available USPS services supported by Starshipit, including key features and delivery timeframes.

#### Domestic Services

**Ground Advantage**

* Used for domestic packages under 70lbs
* Fully tracked with delivery confirmation
* Cost-effective option for non-urgent shipments

**Priority Mail**

* Delivery in 1-3 business days
* Free boxes and envelopes available
* Includes tracking and insurance coverage up to $100

**Priority Mail Express**

* Fastest USPS service with overnight delivery to most locations
* Includes tracking, insurance and money-back guarantee

#### International Services

**Priority Mail International**

* Delivery in 6-10 business days to over 180 countries
* Tracking included for most destinations

**Priority Mail Express International**

* Delivery in 3-5 business days to many countries
* Includes tracking and insurance coverage up to $200

## Additional features

Using USPS via EasyPost integration with Starshipit allows users to select 'Signature Required' or 'Authority to Leave' on delivery.

## Configure USPS settings

| Setting | What it does |
| --- | --- |
| Enable USPS | Makes USPS available for shipment creation. |
| EasyPost API Key | Authenticates Starshipit with EasyPost. |
| EasyPost USPS Account ID | Identifies the USPS account in EasyPost. |
| Product codes | Add the USPS services enabled on the EasyPost account. |
| AES International Transaction Number (ITN) | Supplies the AES ITN for goods valued over US$2,500 when required for an international shipment. |

### USPS via Direct API

If USPS has issued enterprise credentials directly rather than an EasyPost account, use the separate **USPS (via Direct API)** setup.

| Enable USPS (via Direct API) | Turns the direct USPS connection on. |
| Use USPS test environment | Sends requests to the USPS test environment. |
| Account number and Account type | Identify the USPS enterprise account. |
| CRID | Identifies the USPS Customer Registration ID. |
| MID | Identifies the USPS Mailer ID. |
| Manifest MID | Identifies the MID used for manifesting. |
| Product codes | Select the USPS mail class codes available on your enterprise account. |
| Cancel shipment | Enter a tracking number on the Cancel shipment tab to submit a cancellation request. |
