Connect your DPD NL account to Starshipit, test the connection, and add the product codes enabled for your account.

## Before you begin

You need these DPD NL details:

- Customer Number
- Depot Number
- User ID (Delis ID)
- User Password (Delis Password)

Contact your DPD NL account manager if you need any of these credentials.

## Connect DPD NL

1. Go to **Settings** > **Couriers** > **Add a new courier** > **DPD NL**.
2. Select **Enable DPD NL**.
3. Enter your Customer Number, Depot Number, Delis ID, and Delis Password.
4. Click **Save**.
5. Select **Test to ensure it works** to confirm your credentials are valid.

## Add product codes

Add only the product codes enabled on your DPD NL account.

| Code | Service |
| --- | --- |
| `CL` | Classic |
| `E830` | Express 08:30 |
| `E10` | Express 10:00 |
| `E12` | Express 12:00 |
| `E18` | Guarantee 18:00 |
| `IE2` | International Express |

## Configure DPD NL settings

The setup includes these controls:

| Setting | What it controls |
| --- | --- |
| **Use Staging URL** | Uses the DPD test endpoint. Leave this off for live shipments. |
| **Use Generic Description for Items** | Uses the generic item description configured under Starshipit defaults. |
| **Use sender phone number if destination phone not present** | Uses the sender phone as a fallback. |
| **Default customs terms** | Sets the default DAP, DDP, or EXW terms sent to DPD NL. |
| **Label format** | Sets the paper size and layout Starshipit uses when it creates DPD NL labels. Choose the option that matches your printer. |

Add the product codes enabled on your DPD NL account. For international shipments, select the appropriate customs terms and check the declaration details before printing.

## Verify the setup

Create or open a test order, select one of the product codes you added, and confirm the service is available before printing a label.
