* Starshipit's integration with My NZ Post Business allows you to take advantage of all Starshipit's features, including integration with platforms like Shopify, generation of packing slips and shipping labels, auto-correction of addresses, branded tracking pages, tracking notifications, and more.
* My NZ Post Business is a simple and convenient solution for customers who want to send parcels with NZ Post.
* You can sign up for My NZ Post Business and start using it with Starshipit immediately. You'll just need to create an account and store a credit card within the My NZ Post Business portal.

## What you need to get started

* Your My NZ Post Business login details.  
  If you don't have an account, you can register [here](https://bss.nzpost.co.nz/busn-self-service/registration) using the sign-up link.

## How to set up My NZ Post Business

1. In Starshipit, go to **Settings > Couriers > Add New Courier**.
2. Select **New Zealand** from the **Shipping from** dropdown, then select **My NZ Post Business**.
3. Tick **Enable My NZ Post Business**.
4. Click **Authorize**. This will redirect you to the My NZ Post Business website to log in.
5. Enter your My NZ Post Business email address and password.
6. If prompted, review and accept any terms and conditions and enter your credit card details. This is required to integrate the account.
7. Once all necessary steps are completed, you will be redirected back to Starshipit.
8. Select **Lookup** to retrieve the available payment accounts.
9. Select your payment account from **Available payment accounts**.
10. Click **Save** to confirm your settings.

My NZ Post Business is now ready to use on your Starshipit account!

## Configure the settings tab

The **Settings** tab shows the account values returned by NZ Post:

* **Enable MyNZ Post Business** makes the courier available for shipping.
* **Authorize** starts or refreshes the NZ Post authorisation flow. Complete the NZ Post prompts before returning to Starshipit.
* **Account Number**, **Site ID**, and **Auth Code** are read-only values returned after authorisation. Administrators can view these values.
* **Use UAT API Endpoints** sends requests to NZ Post's test endpoints. Use this only with UAT credentials.

Click **Save** after changing the enabled or UAT setting.

## Configure advanced settings

Open the **Advanced** tab to configure shipment defaults and branding:

| Setting | What it does |
| --- | --- |
| **Signature Required (default option)** | Defaults shipments to require a signature. This cannot be enabled at the same time as Photo Required. |
| **Photo Required (default option)** | Defaults shipments to require photo confirmation. This cannot be enabled at the same time as Signature Required. |
| **Rotate Label 180 degree** | Rotates the generated label by 180 degrees. |
| **Display Customer Logo on labels** | Enables the uploaded logo on labels. The logo must be no larger than 1 MB and should be 870 px wide by 124 px high at 300 dpi. |
| **Default North Island Product** | Selects the default product for shipments from the North Island. |
| **Default South Island Product** | Selects the default product for shipments from the South Island. |
| **Format for outbound/return labels** | Selects the label dimension supplied by NZ Post. |

Select **Select** to choose a supported logo file (`PNG`, `JPEG`, `JPG`, `GIF`, `TIF`, or `EPS`), then save the advanced settings.

## Configure MyPost Business settings

On the **Settings** tab, use these controls after authorisation:

| Setting | What it does |
| --- | --- |
| **Enable My NZ Post Business** | Makes My NZ Post Business available for shipping. |
| **Merchant token** | Stores the token returned by MyPost Business authorisation. Do not replace it unless NZ Post instructs you to. |
| **Payment method** | Shows the selected payment method for the account. Use **Lookup** to retrieve available payment accounts, then select the account you want to use. |
| **Book pickups on bulk label print** | Books the next-business-day pickup between 9am and 1pm when you print labels in bulk. Each bulk print creates one pickup; Australia Post charges may apply. |

Click **Save** after changing settings. Select **Test to ensure it works** to validate the connection.

## Manage products

The **Add product codes** section controls the services available for My NZ Post Business shipments:

1. Select **Load products from MyPost Business** to load the products associated with your account, or select **Add new** to add a product manually.
2. Review the product code, product name, whether it is **International**, and whether it is the **Default** service.
3. Select **Save** to keep the product list.
4. Select **Remove all services** only when you want to remove every configured service from Starshipit.

## Configure delivery options

In **Delivery options at checkout**, configure what customers see:

* **Display transit times** shows the estimated transit time with the delivery service.
* **Delivery service description** adds a custom description to the delivery service.

Save the settings after changing either option.

## Configure advanced settings

Open the **Advanced** tab to set shipment, label, and international-shipping defaults:

| Setting | What it does |
| --- | --- |
| **Signature required** | Defaults shipments to require a signature. |
| **Enable email notification for tracking** | Enables tracking email notifications. |
| **Limit extra cover to $100** | Limits the extra-cover option to $100. |
| **Display SKUs on labels** | Prints item SKUs on labels. |
| **Enable multi-package creation for domestic shipments** | Allows domestic shipments to be created as multiple packages. MyPost bills each package as a separate consignment. |
| **Default export type** | Sets the default international export reason: Sale of Goods, Gift, Commercial Sample, Document, or Returned Goods. |
| **Default duties, taxes and fees payer** | Chooses whether the receiver pays on arrival, or the sender pays with Zonos or a tax ID. |
| **Label format (International)** | Displays the fixed international label format, **PDF A4**. |
| **Label format (Domestic)** | Sets the paper size and layout Starshipit uses for domestic labels. Choose the option that matches your printer. |

Save the advanced settings after making changes.

## Remove old basket items

On the **Tools** tab, use **Remove old items** to delete unmanifested Australia Post basket items older than the selected age. Choose the age in **Remove all unmanifested items older than**, then select **Remove old items**. Use this only for items that are no longer needed for a manifest.

## Verify the connection

Load the products, select a valid payment account, and create a test domestic shipment. Confirm that the expected product, label format, transit-time display, and tracking notification behaviour are applied.

3. In the **New UI**, select ‘**Book Pickup’**, or in the **Classic UI**, select ‘**Order Pickup’** from the ‘**Actions’** dropdown.
4. Check the pickup details.
5. Click ‘**Book Pickup’** to confirm the pickup arrangement.
