Magento 2: How do I find the log file?

I am getting an import error that says "Details are available in the Magento log file". How do I locate this?

To locate your log file, we recommend you check out Magento's guide here. The errors can usually be found in the exceptions log.

Alternatively, you can run the below command in magento root directory, it will show that log file location (substituting in the report ID you have in your error message"
```
grep -r "Report ID: XXXXXXX" var/
```
