Shipment transit status in Shopify

Overview

  • Use Starshipit to update ‘Out for delivery’ & ‘Delivered’ shipment transit status to trigger Shopify’s shipping status notifications. 

Requirements

  • Before you can enable this feature, you need to add the Advanced Post-Purchase add-on to your Starshipit account. Learn about add-ons on our pricing page.
  • You can enable this add-on from within your Starshipit settings.

How it works

Enable shipment transit status update:

  • In your Starshipit account, go to Settings > Integrations.
  • Click Settings, then click on the Advanced tab.
  • Select Shopify from the integrated list.
  • Scroll down to the Writeback section.
  • Select Enable fulfilment event writeback.

  • Click Save.

Trigger ‘Out for delivery’ & ‘Delivered’ notifications in Shopify

  • Log into your Shopify account
  • Click Settings in the left navigation menu.
  • Select Notifications.
  • Scroll down to the Shipping section.
  • Select the transit status notifications you’d like Shopify to send.
