  • Starshipit will retrieve and display the best options from our supported partner couriers.

How it works

Starshipit will return your contract rates at checkout, which is the pricing you have negotiated with your courier company. The courier company electronically provides these prices to Starshipit.

The rates that are displayed on checkout and when they are displayed are fully customisable.

    The live rates functionality - is this article saying you cant get live rates/best courier rates for an integration with Unleashed and Carrier UPS?

    Watch out, if you plan to use TNT for live rates at checkout, the Starshipit plugin as of 28/5/24 does not include a number iof key surcharges: The remote area delivery charge of $32.50 applies to a massive number of post codes in Australia. The over size and overweight surcharges add up very quickly to over $80-$210 per item for our larger items.  The fuel surcharge should be a no-brainer especially given the variation on this charge more recently.

    Also the validation of addresses as residential or commercial should be included as this make a massive difference with TNT- the Google Maps API to do this has been available for Australia for some time. 

    Please make this a priority!
