# How to set up Hunter Express

Starshipit integrates with [Hunter Express](https://www.starshipit.com/partner/hunter-express) for domestic shipping within Australia. This guide will walk you through setting up Hunter Express as a courier service in Starshipit.

## 1. How to request your API access

Please contact your Hunter Express account manager and inform them you want to start using Starshipit. They will then supply you with the customer code and name that you will need for the integration.

## 2. Set up your Hunter Express account in Starshipit

1. Go to **Settings** > **Couriers** > **Add a new courier**.
2. Select **Hunter Express**.
3. Tick **Enable Hunter Express**.
4. Select **Use New API (recommended)**.
5. Enter your account details.  
   * Customer Code
   * Customer Name
6. Click **Save**.

## 3. Enter your product codes

1. In **Setting** > **Couriers** > **Hunter Express settings**.
2. Click **Add a new product code**.
3. Enter in the code and name provided by Hunter Express.

If you ship only to non-residential addresses, you can flag your shipments as commercial so that you are not charged the residential fee. This is configured from Settings>Couriers>Hunter Express Settings>Advanced>Receiver Addresses are Commercial.
