Adding the CPL-DGS tag in Starshipit
To ship dangerous goods with CouriersPlease all you need to do is tag your order with CPL-DGS. To do this, you’ll need to set up the tag in your Starshipit settings.
Navigate to Settings > Tags > Add new > Enter CPL-DGS then click Add.
You can now apply this tag to orders containing Dangerous Goods. There are multiple ways to apply this tag to an order, you can do so manually in the orders grid, with the use of a rule or via the API.
Assigning tags to an order
Before you get started you will need to enable the tags column on the orders grid.
In the Orders grid, click the Plus in the tags column. From here you can add the CPL-DGS tag and then click apply.
You can bulk assign tags from the orders grid by selecting all the orders you want to update, selecting Add or Remove Tags from the action menu, and then entering (or removing) the tags you'd like to apply.
You can also apply tags within individual orders. When you open the order, in the bottom right you will see a section for tags where you can add or remove any tags.
You can assign tags to an order via rules. Check out our guide here.
You can also assign tags to an order via the API. Head to our developer centre to learn more.
