Connect Global-e to Starshipit to generate shipping labels for Global-e orders. Global-e is a cross-border commerce platform that localises storefronts and checkout for international customers.

## Before you begin

To integrate Global-e with your Starshipit account, you’ll need to be a Global-e customer. To complete the setup, you'll need the following:

* Your Global-e Merchant GUID

If you do not have this information, you can:

* Reach out to your Global-e account manager
* Contact our [support team](https://help.starshipit.com)

Important note Global-e only allows the generation of shipping labels and relevant shipping documents for orders that exist in the Global-e platform.

## Set up Global-e in Starshipit

1. In Starshipit, go to **Settings** > **Couriers** > **Add a new courier**.
2. Select **Australia** as the shipping-from country, then select **Global-e** under **International**.
3. Tick **Enable Global-e**.
4. Enter your **Merchant GUID**.
5. Choose how Starshipit matches the order to Global-e:
   * Enable **Order Reference (TheirRef)** to match the order reference in Global-e.
   * Leave it disabled to match the **Order Number (SequenceString)** instead.
6. Enable **Use Test Environment** only when Global-e has supplied test credentials.
7. Click **Save**.

## Verify the connection

Create or import an order that exists in Global-e and confirm that Starshipit can retrieve the order and generate its shipping label. Global-e labels cannot be generated for orders that exist only in Starshipit.
