# Process a pickup in store order

Process a pickup order when it has imported with **Pickup in Store** assigned or after you select that service manually.

1. Open the order and confirm **Pickup in Store** is the delivery option.
2. Pick and pack the items.
3. Print the order. If pickup labels are enabled, Starshipit prints the configured identification label without booking a courier.
4. Place the label on the packed order so your team can match it to the customer at collection.
5. Use your configured pickup notification to tell the customer when the order is ready.

For supported Shopify pickup workflows, Starshipit can write the order back as **Ready for pickup**.
