<!-- faq:question -->Can Starshipit write the selected service back to Peoplevox?<!-- /faq:question -->

Yes. Configure each service in Peoplevox with an outbound reference in the format `<carrierID>_<service code>`. Find the correct value under **Settings > Integrations > Peoplevox > Tools**, then enable **Write back service type to Peoplevox** in the Peoplevox integration settings.

If Peoplevox cannot match the reference, it records the carrier as `unknown`.

When the allocation subscription is enabled, Peoplevox creates the Starshipit order when stock is allocated. Later Peoplevox address changes are not sent to that existing order.

To create the order only at despatch, go to **Settings > Integrations > Peoplevox** and disable the subscription. Address changes made before despatch will then be included when Peoplevox sends the order.

Yes. The settings configured in [Product Catalogue](/articles/integrations/product-catalogue/product-catalogue) apply when a Peoplevox order is despatched for label generation.

When **Consolidate multi-packages into one shipment** is enabled, Starshipit keeps adding packages to the unshipped order until `totalPickedItems` matches `totalDespatchedItems`. It then generates and returns the labels to Peoplevox.
