> Understand the four ways orders and fulfilment information can flow between your systems and Starshipit.

Connect your systems to Starshipit to bring orders in, create shipping labels, and send fulfilment and tracking updates back. Your business can use one connection flow or combine several.

## Choose how your orders should flow

- [Connect a sales channel directly](/articles/90200000000508-connect-a-sales-channel-directly) when Shopify, WooCommerce, Amazon, or another sales channel should send orders to Starshipit.
- [Connect a warehouse or inventory system](/articles/360001127975-warehouse-or-inventory-management-system-workflow) when that system controls your operational flow.
- [Create orders manually](/articles/90200000000509-choose-when-to-create-orders-manually) for low-volume or exceptional orders that do not come from another system.
- [Combine multiple connection flows](/articles/90200000000510-combine-multiple-connection-flows) when different stores, warehouses, clients, or order sources need different methods.

If there is no standard integration for your system, [choose a custom connection or file import](/articles/90200000000511-choose-a-custom-connection).

## Check technical requirements

Check whether your system needs access to [Starshipit IP addresses](/articles/360000516376-list-of-ip-addresses-that-require-access-to-your-platform) before you begin setup.
