Customise your branded returns portal so the customer-facing returns experience matches your store and communication style.

## Customise portal branding

You can customise these parts of the returns portal:

- Logo
- Header and accent colour
- Page title and favicon
- Footer section
- Additional packaging details

## Update portal branding

1. Go to **Settings > Returns > Settings > Customise your return portal**.
2. Enable the sections you want to display in the returns portal.
3. Upload the relevant images.
4. Add the text you want customers to see.
5. Click **Save**.

Starshipit uses a rich text editor for portal templates. You can switch to HTML view if you need to copy existing code from your website.

## Customise returns notifications

Returns notifications let you control customer communication throughout the returns process.

1. Go to **Settings > Returns > Notifications**.
2. Select the SMS or email notifications you want to enable.
3. Select the email or SMS template you want to customise.
4. Edit the template.
5. Click **Save**.

## Available return notifications

| Notification | Trigger |
| --- | --- |
| **Send Return Link** | Sent when you send a customer a link to the returns portal. |
| **Return Pick Up Submitted** | Sent when the return is submitted. |
| **Return Parcel Picked Up** | Sent when the carrier records a pickup event. |
| **Return Received** | Sent when the carrier records a delivered event. |
| **Send Return Label** | Sent when you send a return label to a customer directly. |
