> Fix common UPS authorisation and account redirect issues in Starshipit.

Use these checks when UPS authorisation does not redirect back to Starshipit or the integration cannot be tested successfully.

## UPS authorisation does not redirect back to Starshipit

If UPS does not redirect you back to Starshipit, you may be using a CampusShip UPS account. CampusShip accounts are not supported for API integrations.

To resolve this, create a new UPS user ID and add your UPS account to that user ID.

1. Sign up for a new UPS ID on the [UPS signup page](https://www.ups.com/doapp/signup?loc=en_US).
2. Sign in to UPS with the new user ID.
3. Click your profile icon.
4. Click **Accounts and Payment**.
5. Under **Add a Payment Method**, select **Add Existing Account**.
6. Click **Add**.
7. Choose a validation method. You can use **Invoice Data Verification** or **PIN Verification**.
8. If you choose PIN verification, select **I need to request a PIN** and enter the email address for the account owner.
9. Retrieve the PIN from the account owner and enter it.

PIN information is valid for 30 minutes. After completion, UPS adds the account to the new user ID and emails the account owner.

## Verify the fix

Return to **Settings > Couriers > UPS**, click **Authorize**, and sign in with the UPS user ID linked to your UPS account. After redirecting back to Starshipit, click **Save**, then click **Test to ensure it works**.
