> Move an existing FedEx Legacy courier setup to the FedEx REST API integration in Starshipit.

Move your existing FedEx Legacy setup to the FedEx REST API integration when you need to refresh your FedEx connection in Starshipit.

## Before you begin

Make sure you have:

- Your FedEx account number.
- Access to the email address or phone number linked to your FedEx account.
- A complete pickup or sender address in **Settings > Pickup address**.
- Your current FedEx product codes.

## Migrate to the REST API integration

1. Go to **Settings > Couriers > FedEx**.
2. Toggle to **REST API - New**.
3. Enter your FedEx account number.
4. Check that your pickup or sender address is complete and matches your FedEx account.
5. Click **Register**.
6. Select a PIN validation method. Choose **Email**, **Phone**, or **SMS** based on the details linked to your FedEx account.
7. Click **Generate PIN**.
8. Enter the PIN and your company name, then click **Validate PIN**.
9. Click **Save**.

If validation succeeds, Starshipit populates your child key and secret. If validation fails, check your pickup or sender address, then try another PIN validation method.

## Complete your FedEx settings

After migration, check your FedEx configuration.

1. Confirm your product codes are still saved.
2. Upload your commercial invoice signature if you ship internationally.
3. Upload your company letterhead or logo if you ship internationally.
4. Select any additional FedEx settings you use.
5. Click **Save**.

## Verify the migration

Create or open a test order, select a FedEx service, and generate a rate or label. Check that the FedEx service, label, and tracking number are created correctly.

If a FedEx service does not appear, check the product code in **Settings > Couriers > FedEx**.
