Connect Deliver Direct to Starshipit to create United States domestic labels, show live rates, and track shipments. This guide explains what you need from Deliver Direct and how to add the courier to your Starshipit account.

## Before you begin

To connect Deliver Direct to Starshipit, you need:

* API code
* API base URL, if you are not using the default
* Shipper primary ID
* Shipper account
* Shipper street, city, state, post code, and country ID
* Default service type, if required
* Payment mode, if different from the default
* Product or service codes supplied for your account

If you do not have these details, contact your Deliver Direct or SmartKargo account manager.

## Set up Deliver Direct in Starshipit

1. In Starshipit, go to **Settings** > **Couriers** > **Add a new courier**.
2. Select **United States** as the shipping from country.
3. Select **Deliver Direct**.
4. Tick **Enable Deliver Direct**.
5. Enter your **API code** and **Base URL** if supplied.
6. Enter your **Shipper primary ID** and **Shipper account**.
7. Enter the shipper address details.
8. Enter a **Default service type** and **Payment mode** if supplied.
9. Click **Save**.

Your Deliver Direct integration is now connected. You can verify the setup by creating a test shipment.

## Add product codes

Deliver Direct uses service types as Starshipit product codes. Add the service types supplied for your account in the **Add Product Codes** area.

If product codes are configured and Deliver Direct does not return one of those service types, rates or labels can fail.

## Limitations

* Deliver Direct supports domestic shipments within the United States.
* International shipping and returns are not supported through this integration.
* Deliver Direct supports 100 x 150 mm and A4 label sizes.
* Signature required, authority to leave, contract rates, and insurance are supported.
* A separate manifest step is not required.

## Troubleshooting

**No rates are showing?**

Check that:

* The order is a United States domestic shipment.
* API code, shipper primary ID, and shipper account are correct.
* Shipper address fields are complete.
* Base URL and payment mode are correct.
* Package details are complete.
* Product codes match services enabled on your Deliver Direct account.

**Labels are not generating?**

Check that Deliver Direct is enabled, the shipper address fields are complete, and the selected service type is available for the shipment.

**Tracking is not updating?**

Check that the shipment has a tracking number. If tracking still does not update, contact Starshipit support with the tracking number.
