Connect Hived to Starshipit to create United Kingdom domestic labels and track shipments. Hived live rates are not supported in Starshipit.

## Before you begin

To connect Hived to Starshipit, you need:

* Account ID
* OAuth client ID
* OAuth client secret
* Confirmation of whether you should use sandbox or production
* Any service or product codes you want to use

If you do not have these details, contact your Hived account manager.

## Set up Hived in Starshipit

1. In Starshipit, go to **Settings** > **Couriers** > **Add a new courier**.
2. Select **United Kingdom** as the shipping from country.
3. Select **Hived**.
4. Tick **Enable Hived**.
5. Enter your **Account ID**, **Client ID**, and **Client secret**.
6. If Hived gave you sandbox credentials, tick **Use sandbox environment**.
7. Click **Save**.

Your Hived integration is now connected. You can verify the setup by creating a test shipment.

## Add product codes

Hived uses product codes to choose the delivery service. Supported codes are:

| Code | Service |
| --- | --- |
| `same_day` | Same day |
| `next_day` | Next day |
| `two_day` | Two day |

If no product code is supplied, or if the code is not recognised, Starshipit defaults to `next_day`.

## Limitations

* Hived supports domestic shipments within the United Kingdom.
* Sender and receiver countries must both be GB or UK.
* Hived supports single-package shipments only.
* Hived labels print as 100 x 150 mm labels.
* Hived live rates are not supported in Starshipit. Use configured or static shipping rules if you need to show Hived pricing at checkout or import.
* A separate manifest step is not required.

## Troubleshooting

**No rates are showing?**

This is expected. Hived live rates are not supported in Starshipit.

**Labels are not generating?**

Check that:

* Sender and receiver countries are GB or UK.
* The shipment has one package only.
* Postcodes are complete.
* Sender and receiver address details are complete.
* Package weight and dimensions are entered.
* The selected service code is one of `same_day`, `next_day`, or `two_day`.
