Connect NorthLine to Starshipit to create Australian domestic labels, show live rates, and track shipments. This guide explains what you need from NorthLine and how to add the courier to your Starshipit account.

## Before you begin

To connect NorthLine to Starshipit, you need these details from NorthLine:

* Account number or customer code
* Username or user code
* Password
* Product codes supplied by NorthLine
* Confirmation of whether you should use the staging or live environment

If you do not have these details, contact your NorthLine account manager.

## Set up NorthLine in Starshipit

1. In Starshipit, go to **Settings** > **Couriers** > **Add a new courier**.
2. Select **Australia** as the shipping from country.
3. Select **NorthLine**.
4. Tick **Enable NorthLine**.
5. Enter your **Account number**, **Username**, and **Password**.
6. If NorthLine gave you staging credentials, tick **Use staging API**.
7. Click **Save**.

Your NorthLine integration is now connected. You can verify the setup by creating a test shipment.

## Add product codes

NorthLine product codes are required for reliable rates and label generation. Add the product codes supplied by NorthLine in the **Add Product Codes** area.

If rates do not return, check that the order has a product code enabled on your NorthLine account. A commonly tested code is `KILO` / `Kilo`, but you should use the codes NorthLine supplied for your business.

## Limitations

* NorthLine supports domestic shipments from Australia.
* International shipping and returns are not supported through this integration.
* NorthLine labels print as 100 x 150 mm PDF labels.
* A separate manifest step is not required in Starshipit.

## Troubleshooting

**No rates are showing?**

Check that:

* The order is an Australian domestic shipment.
* The sender and receiver postcodes are complete.
* Package weight and dimensions are entered.
* The product code is enabled on your NorthLine account.
* Your account is using the correct staging or live environment.

**Labels are not generating?**

Check that NorthLine is enabled, your credentials are correct, and the selected product code is available on your NorthLine account.
