# Uninstall the legacy Print Client

Use these steps to remove the standalone legacy Print Client. For current automatic printing, install the Desktop App and use its Print Client connection. See [Understand how Starshipit printing works](/articles/90200000000155-understand-how-starshipit-printing-works).

## Uninstall Print Client for Windows 10

1. Select the **Start** button, then select **Settings**> **Apps**> **Apps & features**.
2. Search for Print Client in the list, and select it.
3. Click **Uninstall**.
4. Follow the prompts until a window pops up called **Starshipit Print Client Maintenance**.
5. Select **Remove the application from this computer**, and click **OK**.

## Uninstall Print Client for Mac

1. Go the **Applications** folder on your Mac.
2. Right-click on the Print Client.
3. Select **Move to bin**.
