As your business grows, you may need a Warehouse Management System (WMS) or Inventory Management System (IMS) to manage inventory and meet demand efficiently. Starshipit offers its own built-in WMS, and also integrates with a range of third-party IMS and WMS platforms.

## Starshipit WMS

**Starshipit WMS** is Starshipit's native warehouse management system. It is designed to work alongside your existing Starshipit account and covers the full warehouse lifecycle — from receiving stock and managing locations through to picking, packing and outbound fulfilment.

Key capabilities include:

* Warehouse location management with barcode support
* Inbound receiving, putaway, and purchase orders
* Guided picking and packing workflows
* Inventory tracking, stocktakes, and cycle counts
* Replenishment and stock movement audit trail

Starshipit WMS connects directly to your Starshipit account. Orders, shipments, and key events stay in sync, so your existing automations, rules, and carrier integrations continue to work while the WMS manages what happens inside the warehouse.

## Third-party integrations

If you use an existing IMS or WMS, Starshipit integrates directly with those platforms so you can continue processing orders through Starshipit using your own freight accounts.

## Multiple stores/locations

If you operate multiple stores or dispatch from different locations, you can set up a main Starshipit account that integrates directly to your WMS and courier. The main account will be connected to separate child accounts for each of your stores, each with different settings that apply to them. This allows you to ship from different locations/businesses using Starshipit, as outlined in the diagram below. Your WMS links to your eCommerce platform.
