Connect your Zoom2u account to Starshipit, test the setup, and enable live bookings when you are ready.

## Before you begin

Make sure you can sign in to your Zoom2u account and access the API key in its Profile settings.

## Get your Zoom2u API key

1. Sign in to your Zoom2u account.
2. Go to **Profile**.
3. Copy your API key.
4. Enter `https://app.starshipit.com/callbacks/Zoom2uTracking.aspx` as the WebHook URL.
5. Click **Save**.

## Connect Zoom2u to Starshipit

1. In Starshipit, go to **Settings > Couriers > Add a new courier > Zoom2u**.
2. Paste the Zoom2u API key into the **API Key** field.
3. Add a product code for a service enabled on your Zoom2u account, then choose a default if needed.
4. Click **Save**.

| `3` | 3 hour |
| `S` | Same day |
| `V` | VIP |

## Test the setup before going online

The API key starts in test mode. In this mode, Zoom2u bookings are tests and are not offered to couriers.

1. Finish setting up Zoom2u and Starshipit while the key is in test mode.
2. Create a few test bookings to check that booking data passes between the systems. The Zoom2u onboarding team can help with testing.
3. When you are ready to create live bookings, go to the Zoom2u portal and click **Go Online**. Live bookings are offered to couriers.

Do not switch to Online mode before the full setup is complete.

## Configure Zoom2u settings

| Setting | What it does |
| --- | --- |
| Enable Zoom2u | Makes Zoom2u available for delivery creation. |
| API Key | Authenticates the Zoom2u connection. |
| Pickup scheduling method | Choose a pickup a number of minutes from now or schedule a specific date and time. |
| Minutes from now, Pickup date, and Pickup time | Define the pickup time according to the selected scheduling method. |
| Vehicle Type | Sets the vehicle required: Bike, Car, or Van. |
| Package Type | Sets the package type: Documents, Bag, Box, Flowers, or Custom. |
| Use generic description for items | Uses the generic package description from **Settings > Defaults** instead of individual item descriptions. |
| Product codes | Add the services enabled for your Zoom2u account, such as 3 hour, Same day, or VIP, and choose a default where appropriate. |
