# How to update an order

You can update an order's address, item, package and courier details.

## Batch update

If you would like to update the shipping service you are using for some orders in the new tab in bulk please follow the below steps:

1. Select all the orders that should be updated.
2. Click on **Batch update** in the top menu.
3. Tick Product checkbox and enter in the product code of the service you would like to use e.g WPX.
4. Select the carrier from the drop-down.
5. Click **Update**.

## Edit sender and receiver details

1. Open the order you'd like to edit from the **New** orders grid.
2. Click the pencil edit icon next to either the **Sender** or **Receiver** section.
3. Click **Save** in the bottom right of the dialog box to save your changes.
4. Once you've finished making all your changes, click **Save** in the bottom right of the order dialog.

## Edit items

1. Open the order you'd like to edit from the **New** orders grid.
2. Click the **Expand** arrow next to the **Items**section.
3. Click the pencil edit icon next to the item you'd like to edit.
4. Click **Update order** in the bottom right of the order dialog to save your changes.
5. Once you've finished making all your changes, click **Save** in the bottom right of the order dialog.

## Edit packages

1. Open the order you'd like to edit from the **New** orders grid.
2. Click the **Expand** arrow next to the **Packaging** section.
3. Edit the details of each package such as quantity, length, width, height and weight, or you can choose to **Add a new package**.
4. Once you've finished making all your changes, click **Save** in the bottom right of the order dialog.

## Edit courier

1. Open the order you'd like to edit from the **New** orders grid.
2. Scroll down to the **Courier** section.
3. Select the desired carrier service.
4. The options shown on the right will change based on the service selected.
5. Once you've finished making all your changes, click **Save** in the bottom right of the order dialog.
