MYOB AccountRight (Cloud) Integration

Step 1: Authorize MYOB in Starshipit

1. In Starshipit, navigate to Settings > Integrations > Add a new integration.
2. In the Other Platforms section, select MYOB.
3. Tick the checkbox for Enable MYOB.
4. Click on the Authorize button.
5. Enter your my.MYOB username and password on the login page.
6. Click Allow access to grant Starshipit the necessary permissions.

Step 2: Confirm Company File Name

7. In Starshipit, note the Company File Name field in the MYOB integration settings page.
8. Open the AccountRight desktop application on Windows.
9. Open the company file you want to integrate (e.g., Starshipit Limited)
10. Confirm the company file name from the Command Centre window (top left).
11. Verify that the exact company file name is entered in the Company File Name field in Starshipit Settings > Integrations > MYOB > Company file name.

Step 3: Create an Offline User in MYOB

11. Ensure you have the company file you want to integrate (e.g., Starshipit Limited) open
12. In AccountRight, go to Setup > User Access.
13. Create a new Offline User with the following roles:
    • Administrator
    • Cards
    • Sales (company file roles).
14. Untick the checkbox: This user will sign on with a my.MYOB account (Recommended).
15. Set a username and password for the offline user.

Step 4: Configure Starshipit with Offline User Credentials

15. Enter the Offline Username and Password you created in MYOB into theMYOB integration settings page in Starshipit.!
16. Click Save.

Step 5: Test the Integration

17. Click on the Test button in the Starshipit MYOB settings page to ensure the connection works successfully.

Step 6: Configure Import Options

18. If you want to import orders with specific 'ship via' attributes, add them in the Ship Via field. Use a semicolon (;) to separate multiple shipping methods (e.g., Air; DHL).
19. Tick the checkbox to Import Orders/Invoices, and choose the status (Open, Closed, or Both) to define what orders to import.
