# Connect Xero to Starshipit

## Integrate your Xero platform in Starshipit

1. In Starshipit, navigate to **Settings** > **Integration**
2. Click on **Add new integration** and select Xero from the list.
3. Click on the **Authorize** button
4. Log in to your Xero account to authorize Starshipit.
5. After you have finished authorisation, click **Save**. You can update the integration settings later from **Settings > Integrations**.
## Importing Xero address fields

The address format in Xero must follow one of the rules below in order to have the address imported to the correct fields in Starshipit:

1. When address has 2 lines in Xero
    * Address Line 1 > Street
    * Address Line 2 > Suburb
2. When address has 3 lines in Xero
    * Address Line 1 > Building
    * Address Line 2 > Street
    * Address Line 3 > Suburb

Country field needs to be filled in Xero for the "State/Region" to be imported properly. e.g. "Australia", "United States".

## Configure Xero settings

| Setting | What it does |
| --- | --- |
| **Authorize** | Signs in to Xero and grants Starshipit access to the selected Xero organisation. |
| **Remove tokens** | Revokes the saved Xero authorisation in Starshipit. Authorise again before importing orders. |
| **Delivery address** | Chooses whether Starshipit uses the Xero **Street Address** or **PO Address** for the destination address. |
| **Organization to import** | Selects the Xero organisation or tenant from which Starshipit imports orders. |
| **Status to import** | Sets the Xero status filter used when importing orders. |

Save after changing the delivery address, organisation, or status, then use **Test connection** to confirm access.
