> Connect AMS eGroup to create international freight shipments, labels and tracking updates in Starshipit.

Connect AMS eGroup to Starshipit to ship internationally from Australia, or from New Zealand to Australia. You can create freight labels, get account rates and track your shipments.

## Before you begin

Ask AMS eGroup for your **Account number**, **Client ID** and **Client secret**, and confirm the Freight service codes approved for your account.

## Connect AMS eGroup

1. Go to **Settings > Couriers > [Add a new courier](https://next.starshipit.com/settings/couriers/add)**.
2. Choose your shipping country: **Australia** or **New Zealand**.
3. Select **AMS eGroup** from the international courier list.
4. Tick **Enable AMS eGroup**.
5. Enter your **Account number**, **Client ID** and **Client secret**.
6. Click **Save**.

## Set up Freight services

Open **Settings > Couriers > [AMS eGroup](https://next.starshipit.com/settings/couriers/setup/ams-egroup)** in UI 2.0. Check the product-code table against the services approved for your account.

| Product code | Service name | Route |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `INTOUTFRT` | Freight | From Australia to an international destination |
| `INTINBFRT` | Freight | To Australia, including from New Zealand |

1. Add or edit the product codes and service names supplied by AMS eGroup.
2. Select one **Default** service. New connections use `INTOUTFRT`; change it if your account uses a different default.
3. Click **Save**, then reopen the settings to check your service list and default.

Use a service approved for the route you are shipping. Selecting it as the default does not change which routes it supports.

## Create a shipment

1. Open an order and select **AMS eGroup**.
2. Choose the Freight service for your route.
3. Complete the sender and recipient addresses and phone numbers, package weights and dimensions, and customs details. You can include multiple packages.
4. Select **Authority to Leave** or **Signature Required** if needed.
5. Print the label and check that the order has a label and tracking number.

AMS eGroup provides scheduled collections. There is no separate first-mile label, manifest or close-out step in Starshipit.

## Rates and shipment options

Rates depend on your route and the services enabled by AMS eGroup. Check the selected Freight code if the service you expect is missing.

- Returns, shipment cancellation and insurance are not supported through this integration.
- Provide a commercial invoice separately if customs requests one; Starshipit does not retrieve it electronically.
- Tracking updates are available for each parcel.

## Troubleshooting

### My settings will not save

Check your AMS eGroup credentials and make sure you have selected exactly one default service. Ask AMS eGroup to confirm the credentials are active if the problem continues. Keep your client secret out of support messages.

### I cannot create a label

Check the addresses, package details and customs information, then confirm that AMS eGroup has approved the selected service for your route. All packages on the shipment must use the same service code.

If you have already tried printing, check the order for a label and tracking number before trying again.
