> Generate current whole-warehouse inventory reports in Starshipit Shipping and schedule delivery with the supported account and timing limits.

Generate a current whole-warehouse inventory report from **Reports** in Starshipit Shipping, or schedule it for email delivery. Each report captures stock when it runs; it cannot reconstruct inventory for a past date.

## Before you begin

Use UI 2.0 in the direct warehouse account with an active WMS warehouse and the WMS add-on configured. You need Reports access and permission to generate reports. Staff, workstation and client accounts cannot access this whole-warehouse report.

## Generate an inventory report

1. Go to **[Reports](https://next.starshipit.com/reports)** and select **Generate Report**.
2. Select **Inventory report**. It captures current stock, so no historical date range is required.
3. Select **Generate** and wait for the report to become **Ready**.
4. Download the report as CSV or Excel. Check the warehouse account and the report's date and time before using or sharing the figures.

Inventory reports cover the whole warehouse. Child-account inclusion and archived-order filters do not change their scope. Report history is available for 90 days; keep a downloaded copy if you need it for longer.

## Schedule inventory reports

You also need permission to modify Reports to change a schedule that includes inventory.

1. In **Reports**, select **Schedule report**.
2. Select **Inventory report**, keeping any other report types you still want.
3. Enter up to three **Recipients**, separated by commas.
4. Choose **Daily**, **Weekly** or **Monthly** under **Frequency**, then select **Save**.
5. Reopen the schedule and confirm the report selection, recipients and frequency. After the next run, check the report in history and confirm the expected email arrives.

The frequency and recipients are shared with the other scheduled reports for that account. Check those selections before saving.

Daily reports run at 19:00 UTC, weekly reports on Sunday at 19:00 UTC, and monthly reports on the first day of the month at 00:00 UTC. Inventory is captured when the report runs; this does not guarantee a warehouse's local-midnight month-end balance. Reports cannot reconstruct stock for a past date.

## Troubleshooting

- **Inventory report is missing:** Check that you are in the direct warehouse account, its WMS add-on is configured and your user has Reports access.
- **Generation fails:** Check the error shown. Contact [Starshipit support](/ticket) if the warehouse report service is unavailable. Generating another report captures fresh stock rather than recreating an earlier balance.
- **The scheduled email is missing:** Recheck the saved recipients, frequency and report selection. Check report history before repeating generation, and share the report reference with support if the problem continues.
