> Group your BBX or BBE orders, print individual child labels, then create the parent label for the consolidated shipment.

Ship a group of orders together using DHL Express Break Bulk in UI 2.0. You will assign a Parent ID to link the orders, print each child label, then print the parent label for the consolidated shipment.

## Before you begin

- Complete [DHL Express Break Bulk setup](/articles/7342771342479-set-up-dhl-express-break-bulk-services), including the approved service and parent location.
- Check that the child orders' destination countries match that location.
- Enter the required item descriptions, weights and values before printing the child labels.
- Confirm any dangerous-goods approval and declarations with DHL before processing those orders.
- Check the configured DHL duties and taxes account if the parent will use **Duties & Taxes Paid (DTP)**.

The parent label covers the consolidated shipment. Include every intended child order before creating it; you cannot add further child orders to an already created parent label.

## Assign parent and pallet IDs

The **Parent ID** groups the consolidated shipment. A **Pallet ID** identifies an individual pallet within it.

1. In **New**, select the orders for the same consolidation and pallet.
2. Open the **BBX/BBE** bulk action.
3. Select **GENERATE NEW** beside **Parent ID**, then beside **Pallet ID**.
4. Select **UPDATE** to apply the IDs to the selected orders.
5. Open an order and check that both IDs were assigned.

Keep one active parent consolidation at a time. Complete its child labels and parent label before generating the next Parent ID.

## Print the child labels

1. Check that the orders use the intended DHL **BBX** or **BBE** product.
2. Select the child orders and choose **Print shipping labels**.
3. Confirm that all intended child orders appear in **Printed** with their labels and the same Parent ID.

Check each child order's dangerous-goods declaration before continuing. A later parent selection does not rewrite declarations on child consignments that have already been printed.

## Choose services and print the parent label

1. In **Printed**, select all child orders for the same Parent ID.
2. Open the **BBX/BBE** bulk action to generate the parent label.
3. Review **Additional services** when it is available. Select the services required for this parent, including **Duties & Taxes Paid** when appropriate. Available options depend on the account and service; DHL determines eligibility.
4. Review **Mother Dangerous Goods** when it is available. Leave **Inherit from selected child shipment** only when the inherited declaration is correct, or select the required supported declaration.
5. Select **Print**.
6. If **Different Dangerous Goods declarations** appears, review the declaration and **Mother Dangerous Goods source** before selecting **Proceed**. Select **Cancel** if you need to check the child orders first.

The confirmation applies your chosen declaration to the parent and any editable child shipments. It keeps the declarations on already printed child labels.

## Check the result

Open the parent order in **Printed** and check its label, tracking number and selected services. The child orders should now appear in **Shipped**.

To reprint a label, open the existing parent order. If the parent was created but an update did not complete, contact [Support](https://support.starshipit.com/ticket) with its tracking number before submitting another parent-label request.

## Troubleshooting

- **Different Parent IDs:** Select only the child orders belonging to one consolidation.
- **No matching parent location:** Check the child destinations against the countries configured in [Break Bulk setup](/articles/7342771342479-set-up-dhl-express-break-bulk-services).
- **Missing additional service or declaration:** Check the DHL account's approved options and the controls shown in the parent dialog. Ask DHL or Support if the required option is unavailable.
