Connect Delivereasy to request delivery estimates and book New Zealand domestic deliveries from Starshipit. Starshipit creates a local 100 × 150 mm address label and stores the Delivereasy booking ID and tracking link.

## Before you begin

Make sure you have a **Partner Store ID** for each Delivereasy pickup location. You do not need to enter an API key in Starshipit.

Delivereasy bookings require a New Zealand pickup and delivery address, the recipient's name and New Zealand phone number, and at least one physical item. Starshipit does not send return, insured, signature-required, or restricted-goods bookings. Restricted goods include dangerous goods, batteries, age-restricted items, prescription medicines, and tobacco.

## Connect Delivereasy

1. In Starshipit, go to **Settings > Couriers > Add a new courier**.
2. Select **New Zealand** as the shipping-from country, then select **Delivereasy**.
3. Enable Delivereasy and enter the **Partner Store ID** for the pickup location.
4. Click **Test connection**. When the connection succeeds, Starshipit displays the store name and address for that ID.
5. Click **Save**.

If you dispatch from multiple locations, add a separate Delivereasy account for each Partner Store ID. Configure the account in every Starshipit account that owns shipments; child accounts do not inherit the parent account's Delivereasy settings.

## Choose pickup timing

By default, Starshipit requests pickup no earlier than 30 minutes after the booking request. You can change the pickup delay in the Delivereasy settings. If you enable exact pickup time, each shipment must have a pickup date and time.

## Create and track a delivery

1. Create an estimate in Starshipit to check the Delivereasy delivery option for the pickup and delivery addresses.
2. Create the shipment to send the booking to Delivereasy.
3. Print the Starshipit-generated 100 × 150 mm label. Delivereasy does not return a carrier label.
4. Use the tracking link stored with the shipment to follow the delivery.

A shipment creates one Delivereasy booking and tracking ID. Delivereasy does not require a manifest or a separate close-out step.

## If the connection cannot be verified

Check that the Partner Store ID is the one Delivereasy assigned to the pickup location, then run **Test connection** again. If the store name and address still do not load, ask Delivereasy to confirm the ID and pickup location.
