Starshipit WMS works with your Starshipit account. The right connection depends on where your orders, products and stock are managed today.

## Understand the available WMS connections

WMS has one direct warehouse-platform integration and several supported commerce inventory connections. A sales channel can still connect to Starshipit for orders and shipping even when it is not listed below for WMS product and inventory synchronisation.

## Before you enable synchronisation

Decide which system is the source of truth for products and inventory. Test new integrations with a small set of products and orders before relying on them for live operations. Review the relevant settings in [WMS settings reference](/articles/14700000000031-wms-settings-reference).
