# Connect Square to Starshipit

Integrate Starshipit with SquareUp to seamlessly import your orders and automate fulfillment. Orders from SquareUp will automatically sync with Starshipit, tracking details will be sent back once orders are fulfilled, and order status updates will be handled automatically.

## What you need to get started

* A SquareUp Account.

## How to set up SquareUp

1. In your Starshipit account, go to **Settings >** **Integrations**.
2. Click **Add a new integration** and select **SquareUp** from the list.
3. Click Authorize
4. In the pop-up window, sign in with your **SquareUp** account.
5. Once you have signed in, wait for the page to reload
6. Specify the **location** in **SquareUp** to import orders from.
7. Click **Save**.

### Set the order status to import

1. In **Settings** > **Integrations**, select **SquareUp settings**
2. Choose the **order status to import** from the dropdown menu.
3. Click **Save**.

Once saved, click **Fetch latest orders** to confirm your integration is working correctly.

## Additional features

**Order Status Sync**: Orders will **automatically update** in SquareUp when they are shipped from Starshipit.

    Tracking information will be sent back to SquareUp, updating the order status.

## Configure Square settings

| Setting | What it does |
| --- | --- |
| **Enable SquareUp** | Turns the integration on or off. |
| **Access token** | Authenticates Starshipit with Square. Keep it private. |
| **Refresh token** | Lets Starshipit refresh the Square authorisation when required. |
| **Token expires at** | Shows when the current access token expires. This is managed by the connection and normally should not be changed manually. |
| **Import status options** | Selects the Square order statuses to import. |
| **Location IDs** | Limits imports to the selected Square locations. |

Authorise the connection, save the settings, and test a location-specific order before enabling automatic imports.
