> Connect Zoho Inventory to Starshipit and configure data centre, order import, and write-back settings.

Integrate Starshipit with Zoho Inventory to import orders into Starshipit and write shipment details back to Zoho after fulfilment.

## Before you begin

Make sure you have:

* A Zoho Inventory account.
* Admin access to your Starshipit account.
* Access to the Zoho organisation you want to connect.
* The Zoho data centre for your Zoho account.

:::important
Select the Zoho data centre that matches where your Zoho account is hosted before you authorise Zoho. This may differ from your business location. If Zoho redirects with `location=us` or `accounts-server=https://accounts.zoho.com`, choose **United States (US)**.
:::

## Connect Zoho

1. In your Starshipit account, go to **Settings > Integrations**.
2. Click **Add a new integration** and select **Zoho**.
3. Turn on **Enable Zoho**.
4. Choose the **Data Centre** for your Zoho account.
5. Click **Authorize** and sign in with your Zoho account.
6. Wait for Starshipit to return to the Zoho settings page.
7. Select the **Organization To Import From**.
8. Select the **Location To Import From**, if required.
9. Choose the **Import Stage** for orders to import.
10. Click **Save**.

After saving, click **Test connection** to confirm Starshipit can connect to Zoho.

## Configure Zoho settings

Use these settings to control Zoho imports and shipment write-back.

| Setting | What it does | When to use it |
| --- | --- | --- |
| **Enable Zoho** | Turns on the Zoho integration. | Enable this when you want Starshipit to import orders from Zoho. |
| **Import orders using Zoho Packages** | Uses Zoho Packages as the import source and imports only **Not Shipped** packages. | Recommended for Zoho warehouse workflows. Leave this off to import sales orders. |
| **Write back sales order shipment details to Zoho** | Writes sales order shipment details, including tracking numbers, back to Zoho after fulfilment. | Enable this when fulfilled shipments should update Zoho sales orders. Zoho requires at least one package before a shipment order can be created. |
| **Send shipment number to Zoho** | Sends shipment numbers when Starshipit creates Zoho shipment orders. | Disable this if Zoho should auto-generate shipment numbers. |
| **Data Centre** | Sets the Zoho data centre Starshipit uses for authorisation and API requests. | Match your Zoho account domain, such as **Australia (AU)** for `.com.au` or **United States (US)** for `.com`. |
| **Organization To Import From** | Sets the Zoho organisation Starshipit imports orders from. | Select the organisation you want to connect to Starshipit. |
| **Location To Import From** | Sets the Zoho location Starshipit imports orders from. | Use this if your Zoho organisation has multiple locations and you only want to import orders from one location. |
| **Import Stage** | Sets the order status Starshipit imports from Zoho. The default is `DRAFT`. | Choose the status that matches the orders you want to fulfil in Starshipit. |

:::important
If you enable **Import orders using Zoho Packages** or **Write back sales order shipment details to Zoho**, re-authorise Zoho so Starshipit can request the required Zoho package or shipment permissions.
:::

## Verify the connection

After you save the integration:

1. Click **Test connection**.
2. Confirm the connection test succeeds.
3. Click **Fetch latest orders**.
4. Check that orders import into Starshipit.
5. Open a test order and confirm the order details match Zoho.
6. If write-back is enabled, fulfil a test shipment and confirm the shipment details appear in Zoho.

## Troubleshooting

### Authorisation failed or the organisation list is blank

Check that the **Data Centre** in Starshipit matches the data centre returned by Zoho during authorisation.

For example:

* If Zoho returns `location=us` or `accounts-server=https://accounts.zoho.com`, select **United States (US)**.
* If you access Zoho from a `.com.au` domain, select **Australia (AU)**.

After changing the **Data Centre**, click **Authorize** again and sign in with Zoho.

### Orders are not importing

Check the following:

* **Enable Zoho** is turned on.
* The correct **Organization To Import From** is selected.
* The correct **Location To Import From** is selected, if your Zoho account uses locations.
* The **Import Stage** matches the status of the orders you expect to import.
* If **Import orders using Zoho Packages** is enabled, the packages are in **Not Shipped** status.

### Shipment details are not writing back to Zoho

Check the following:

* **Write back sales order shipment details to Zoho** is enabled.
* Zoho has at least one package on the sales order.
* Zoho has been re-authorised after enabling write-back.
* **Send shipment number to Zoho** is disabled if Zoho is set to auto-generate shipment numbers.

## Update Zoho settings

1. In **Settings > Integrations**, select **Zoho settings**.
2. Update the settings you need to change.
3. Click **Save**.
