To save time and improve efficiency, you can set up a rule that prints a shipping label for each package when a customer orders multiple products for one order but the products are already packaged separately.

## How to set up the rule

1. Go to **Settings** > **Rules**.
2. Select **Add a new rule**.
3. Under Condition(s) select the condition that's relevant to you, e.g. All Orders.
4. Under Action select **Split Packages By Order Item Quantity.**
5. Click **Save**.

Before using the rule for live orders, test a multi-package label with your chosen courier service. Some carrier integrations do not accept multiple packages, while others book them as separate consignments. After printing, check the source order for the tracking numbers you expect; writeback depends on the connected sales channel.
